In Anglona, in a setting of Romanesque churches and domus de janas, stands a modern winery whose main objective is to produce wines whose flavours and fragrances are the expression of an ancient land rich in history such as Sardinia. This is how Gianluigi and Silvia and their daughters wanted to realise their project: to give new life to a viticulture that was once widespread in the heart of Anglona, bringing back their culture and love of wine to an area with enormous potential.
In deep soils, mainly made up of reddish trachyte and white limestone, the company vineyards grow strictly on organic farming, with native varieties such as Cannonau, Vermentino and Bovale, but also international varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot. The frequent rocky outcrops that alternate with the hilly landscape create a natural barrier to the strong salty mistral winds coming from the Gulf of Asinara. At the same time, the gentle breezes coming down from the ridges of the Gallura mountains guarantee an optimal day-night range during the ripening of the grapes. It is therefore thanks to the characteristic morphological nature of the soil, the meticulous care with which the vines are trained and the unique microclimatic conditions that these grapes produce fine wines.
