You will visit the historic and evocative cellars where we refine our wines and you will be taken on a discovery of the medieval halls of the castle, visiting the places where the de' Pazzi conspiracy was hatched, today the private residence of the castle's owners.

Tasting of 4 wines accompanied by crostini, Tuscan salami, pecorino, bread with extra virgin olive oil of our own production and many other products grown on our estate.

Host information

Just a few kilometers from Florence, located between the Chianti Colli Fiorentini and Chianti Rufina wine zones, stands the Castello del Trebbio, a historic castle with a rich and glorious past, but a thriving and traditional farm today.

The estate consists of 350 hectares, 60 of which are dedicated to vineyards. Utilizing both traditional grape varietals and more recently introduced varietals we’re producing excellent wines, which are the fruit of a land exceptionally suited to this type of agriculture.

In addition to wine, the Castle produces extra virgin olive oil, saffron and spelt. The offer is completed by a line of cosmetics with ingredients of our production, and a range of jams with original combinations of season.

Il Castello del Trebbio è un gioiello incastonato tra splendide colline. La visita è stata piacevolissima, grazie ad un'ottima "guida", cordiale e competente, che ci ha colmato di informazioni interessanti e aneddoti sorprendenti (come quelli sulla congiura de' "Pazzi"), sia sulle cantine che sul castello. Anche la degustazione è stata eccellente, grazie ai prodotti a "km" zero che abbiamo assaggiato e ai vini che ci hanno proposto (entusiasmanti il Chianti Rufina Lastricato e il Vinsanto). Una visita senz'altro da consigliare: e per noi, un luogo bellissimo dove tornare, magari per qualche giorno di completo relax, buona cucina e ottimo vino.

Bellissima accoglienza. Una visita piena di storia e aneddoti. Cantina storica meravigliosa e vini eccellenti. Degustare nel luogo dove è stata ordita la congiura dei Pazzi è stato fantastico. Panorama mozzafiato. Da non perdere il vin santo, vero nettare.

Esperienza fantastica. Nel paesaggio delle colline toscane un castello ricco di storia, meriterebbe gia’ da solo la visita... se poi aggiungiamo le sue cantine e gli ottimi vini della degustazione direi che e’ proprio un’esperienza da vivere. A me e’ piaciuto in modo particolare il vino “pazzesco”, ma sono tutti ottimi. Sicuramente ci tornero’. E poi devo aggiungere che cantine.wine e’ un sito molto ben strutturato che rende agevole e veloce la prenotazione. Da consigliare.
