A reality certified in the register of Italian excellences since 2015 that also produces small quantities of extra virgin olive oil.

The Massussi Agricultural Company was founded in 1985 by Giuseppina Ruggeri and her husband Vittorio Massussi, with the support of her maternal father Agostino, whose love for the land provided great motivation in the early years of activity.
Initially, the company was established under the name Ruggeri, after the founder Giuseppina, mother of Luigi Massussi.

Thanks to constant work and commitment to achieving ever greater quality, in 2011 the first important recognitions and national publications were obtained in guides such as Veronelli and Slow Food, which led to the company being noticed and then contrasted, due to the name similarity, with Ruggeri of Prosecco.
For this reason, the company chose to change its name to Massussi Agricultural Company, after the surname of the current family business leader, Luigi.

Uno dei più piccoli produttori di Franciacorta, ambiente molto famigliare. abbiamo visitato la vigna, la cantina e poi una degustazione con tagliere di formaggi e salumi. Tutto ottimo!

Esperienza particolare, ci siamo ritrovati nel bel mezzo di una azienda appena avviata, in fase di cantiere e con molti progetti e traguardi da raggiungere. Il sig. Luigi è stato molto gentile e cordiale nell'accoglierci, raccontandoci la sua storia fin dal principio. I vini che ci sono stati proposti erano molto buoni e di buona fattura. Tuttavia, uno dei tanti punti su cui per me si dovrebbe migliorare è l'accoglienza e la parte di degustazione nel quale sinceramente ho notato un po' di disorganizzazione. Ulteriore parte negativa che ha rovinato un pochino l'esperienza è stato il maltempo e il non poter usufruire del loro locale pieno di vetrate per poterci godere il panorama. Contiamo di ritornare quando ci sarà molta più tranquillità, qualche cantiere in meno e più organizzazione per goderci al meglio l'esperienza.

Vigneto posto in posizione privilegiata sopra il lago di Iseo - il Franciacorta più alto, non a caso il più studiato... e, a quanto pare, imitato dai grandi -, a conferire ai vini profili molto interessanti e un'acidità spiccata, da champagne. Tenuta piccola ma deliziosa, con una vista mozzafiato. Una produzione nobile, con annate importanti. Un coltivatore integro, onesto, che meriterebbe più attenzione dalle riviste blasonate, che pure l'hanno, giustamente, premiato. Il minimo di zuccheri (dosaggi zero ed extra brut i migliori), per contro tantissima passione e meriti, in vigna e in cantina. Bravo Luigi, "Massussi Iseo", ti torneremo a trovare a nuova cantina ultimata (già ora è bellissima!), perché i sogni vanno coltivati. Come il tuo Pinot bianco, così singolare ;)

Panorama eccezionale , visita semplice ma molto dettagliata di una piccola cantina , il proprietario molto alla mano e esaustivo nelle spiegazioni , buoni il salame e formaggi di accompagnamento ai 2 vini degustati, un extra brut e un saten , entrambi ottimi.
