A reality born on solid and ancient roots, which is confirmed year after year as the best synthesis between avant-garde and respect for the Emilian wine tradition.
It is the crowning achievement of a history of wine entrepreneurship that began in 1860 when, in the year of the Unification of Italy, Cleto Chiarli - great-great-grandfather of the brothers Anselmo and Mauro, who represent the fourth generation - was the first in Modena to start the production of Lambrusco, marking the successful beginning of what has become the family business for the future to come.
Today, as well as being an important production centre, the company is also a place of research, valorisation and promotion of the best Emilian wine culture, with the aim of always using its products to represent the right balance between modernity and respect for the typicality that local wine-growing can express. This is why, alongside the initial project dedicated to the Lambrusco family of vines (in particular the prestigious Sorbara and Grasparossa), a research project has been launched dedicated to Pignoletto, a particular white wine that has long been produced in restricted areas of the Emilian hills.
