Once, on the gentle hills of Valcalepio, every family owned a vineyard, small or large, from which they produced grapes for their own wine. The land was tough, the work hard, but the bond with the vines was deep. This was the case for grandfather 'Cesco' (Francesco), an tireless sharecropper, and for his children, who shared with him the sweat and passion for viticulture.
In the late 1960s, while many abandoned the countryside to pursue new opportunities in industry, the youngest of the sons, Luigi (Rino), made a counter-current choice: he purchased the land he had worked on for years with his father. It was not just a piece of land, but a legacy of tradition and dedication. Over time, his wife and daughters joined him, carrying on that passion that is still felt in every phase of wine production today.
And it is right here, at the edge of the forest of the Valli d’Argon Park, that La Cà del Manét was born. A place where the landscape transforms with the seasons, dressing in green, yellow, and red, and where every vine tells a story of love for the land.
