Since 1891 Aceto Balsamico del Duca has been dedicated to the production and promotion of Aceto Balsamico di Modena IGP and Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP. A tradition that has been handed down for five generations, closely linked to the territory, guaranteeing a unique product made from selected, high quality cooked grape musts and exclusively Italian wine vinegar.
It was 1891 when Adriano Grosoli registered his "Premiata Salumeria" in the register of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Modena.
In the 1970s, Adriano Grosoli, the founder's grandson, decided to distinguish his balsamic with the image of Duke Francesco I d'Este, among the most famous and passionate producers of the balsam that was highly prized at the court of the Este family.
In 2016, Aceto Balsamico del Duca reached a double milestone: on the occasion of its 125th anniversary, it was fully admitted to the register of the Unione Imprese Centenarie Italiane.
